Self-Zeroing: In / Out

Alexander Eremin

There are two sculptures united by a common plastic and theme. In one of them, the person as it were comes out of the "mirror", like from nothing, in the other sculpture he returns inside himself and further to zero. The modeling is deliberately crude, emphasizing the absurdity of what is happening. Every living being wants to be free. His freedom can only be restricted by force. For example, putting him in a cage or declaring a curfew. This naturally happens in our world. "Self-zeroing" means self-denial of freedom. But even to this state, a person can get used and feel comfortable. For example go out to a store. And back.
